Anime Matsuri 2011

It's been a while since we've updated this blog. :( But it'll be back up again soon with stuff to hit this blog with againn~! So we have an announcement! :DD

Studio Kuromon will be attending Anime Matsuri 2011! It'll be March 18-20th, 2011.

Our full staff will be there: Purkin, Syunrii, and Taiphon. There's also a special guest artist that'll be tabling by Purkin's side! :DD More info about what will be available at the table later as the due date comes up. hahaha

Blood Break babies ♥

So I am currently just writing out and drafting characters for my "epic" manga, Blood Break. For a night, I considered putting it in a steam-punk kind of world. This is Asteria Marcel-- she's a character that unexpectedly grew on me. hahaha! But anyways, i scrapped the idea of the steam-punk world and stuck to the same magic-enhanced world I had planned. Probably because I'm too lazy to really redesign all that I've already done. But enjoy this tossed out design anyways! hahaha

I've been having a hard time drawing anything lately. How fail. Anyways, this is a draft of Kanamo from my slice of life/shoujo-y/not-a-love-story manga. It's really just an explorative manga of my thoughts on love. Hopefully one day I'll have the guts to post it online. Until then~

So yea...I've been doing basically nothing art wise since summer started .__. Dunno if I got a table at AFest or not, but I'm a bit worried. Hopefully Khang can put in a good word for me since he's friends with the Chairwomen XD

Anyway. I did draw a few small things for the PKMNcollectors community <3

Arcanine and Wailord were for myself, while Houndour and Charmander were for someone who made me an AWESOME pair of icons *u* Ampharos was up for grabs.

These are easy and pretty fun to do. So...I might post more later lol

Just practicing painting and stuff atm. I think I also wanna draw more sexy-type bodies, vs. my usual moe stuff....i think it's cause i recently saw Taiphon's Hyung Tae Kim artbook in her room. So Syunrii and I haven't really drawn much since God knows when. And here's the long awaited (but really rusty) pchat collab! It was a quicky~!

Syunrii: Gaaaaaaah, omg I drew a girl for once. A little pchat exercise to loosen up 8D Can't even think of the last time I drew something. Anyway, I loved how they turned out, even though our skills are a bit rusty! They match so well :'D

So my style is turning moe shoujo. OTL it's all good. I don't mind if that style is the default one as long as I know I can do other styles too. Anyways~ Purkin came over and we did a mini-sketch jam of maids!

I love Arcanine~ I decided to draw my Trainer OC, Syunn, along with it <3 I'm coloring Syunn's hat right now lol.

I drew this one a while ago, a couple of days before school started up again from winter break. Still not finished, but I do like it. For those who don't know, it's Denji (or Volkner) and Oba (Flint) from the Pokemon games.
